Our Worship Service
Unlike many churches, Courtyard does not publicly stream its worship services (though we do in our private YouTube channel for friends and Family). This allows our Sunday time to be honest with confession and prayer, personalized to the members of our Family, and brave space to mature in our gifts and in love for each other.
The best way to get to know what we're about is to visit in person.
We also understand that it can be easier to visit a new place after you've "peeked inside" virtually. So, we invite you to visit our public Facebook page , Instagram, or a YouTube worship video to get a feel of who we are. Another way to glimpse who we are is through one of our end of year videos, like this one from 2021.
Reach out to us in whatever medium is best for you if you have more questions. We'd be happy to buy you a cup of coffee and talk!
Ministers at Courtyard
Tiffany
Tiffany has been with Courtyard since its inception in 2015. She did her undergraduate work in Religious Studies and Education at York University in Nebraska. She moved to Fayetteville with Army connections in 2000 and has been here ever since raising her four children. Tiffany earned an M.Div. from Asbury Theological Seminary with concentrations in Old Testament and Spiritual Formation. She went on to earn a doctorate in Preaching for Community Transformation through Abilene Christian University where she currently works as the Assistant Dean for Vocational Formation at ACU Dallas and is the Program Director for their ministry degree and Certificates in Church Leadership. She is an Associate Professor for ACU and teaches courses like Wisdom Literature, Church Leadership, Pastoral Ministry, & oversees capstone projects. Tiffany also teaches Courtyard's adult Bible classes at 9:30 on Sunday mornings. Tiffany has particular passions for holding space with those who have complicated relationships with church and facilitating spiritual disciplines that help them heal and mature in their faith in a way that loves God with their heart, body, soul, and mind. You can reach her via anytime to set up a time to talk over tea or coffee. She'd love to meet you!
Jared
Jared and his family are stationed in Fayetteville at Fort Liberty for the second time, and we are thrilled to have re-confirmed him onto Courtyard's leadership team after our beloved Owusu-Ansah family had to move. Jared is gifted in hospitable presence, leadership, and wisdom and serves powerfully in these areas within our church family. He is currently pursuing a degree in Psychology while serving in the U.S. Army. Jared and his wife, Shelle, love games, music, soccer, their home state of Washington, and all things fun with their two boys.
